The tool finds the highest quality that still meets the target size, and scales down only if needed. Images already under the limit are left unchanged.

How it works

  1. Step 1 · Add files

Drop images to convert into the drop zone above.

  2. Step 2 · Confirm settings

Leave WebP as output for smaller web images; tweak quality in Custom settings.

  3. Step 3 · Download

Download each WebP from the results list, or download all as a ZIP.

Why this conversion

WebP usually shrinks photos and graphics versus PNG/JPEG at similar quality, and can keep transparency.

Frequently asked questions

Does every site accept WebP?

Most modern sites and browsers do. Use Image to JPG when a portal only lists JPEG, or Image to PNG when you need lossless compatibility.

Which inputs can I convert to WebP?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), and SVG (rasterized). HEIC and exotic camera RAW files are not supported in the browser here.

Does transparency survive Image to WebP?

Yes for PNG, WebP, and SVG inputs with alpha. JPEG sources have no transparency to preserve.

Can I batch-convert mixed files to WebP?

Yes. Drop several images, leave WebP as output, adjust quality in Custom settings if needed, then download or ZIP all results.
