Will WebP be smaller than PNG?
Often yes at similar visual quality. Compare both exports if you need the absolute smallest file for the web.
Does location or metadata matter?
SVG usually has little photo metadata. The export is a fresh bitmap drawn on a canvas, so EXIF location tags are not carried over.
What about animated SVG?
You get a still frame of what the browser draws at export time — this is not an animation or video exporter.
