What to watch for

Is JPEG the same as JPG?
Yes — same format, different extension spelling. This hub accepts both .jpg and .jpeg inputs and exports standard JPEG files.
Do you keep transparency?
No. JPEG fills transparent pixels with white. Use the PNG converter hub or Image to PNG when you need a cutout or logo with alpha.
Which inputs does the JPG converter accept?
PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), SVG (rasterized), and existing JPEG files. HEIC and camera RAW are not supported in the browser here.
