Frequently asked questions

Will 800px look blurry on retina screens?

For tiny avatars it is usually fine. For hero images prefer 1200px or 1920px, then compress if needed.

Which formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), and SVG inputs. You can optionally export as JPEG or WebP in Custom settings.

Can I resize many files at once?

Yes. Batch-resize up to 50 images locally, then download individually or as a ZIP.

Does this replace compression?

No. Resize changes pixel dimensions; use Compress or a KB/MB page when the destination caps file size.
