Frequently asked questions
Why did size barely change?
If the file was already near or under 2MB, little work is needed. Pick a smaller target (500KB or 1MB) for stronger savings, or switch to WebP for web use.
Will results always stay under 2MB?
The compressor adjusts quality and scale to meet the cap. Very large originals may need a lower max width — open Compare on the result, or Adjust that image and retry.
Can I compress many files to 2MB at once?
